LILAVATI

Lilavati, written in Sanskrit by the Indian mathematician Bhaskar II in 1150 AD, is an ancient text on mathematics and astronomy, it has about 625 verses, and it is also a part of Siddhanta Shiromani. Arithmetic has been discussed in Lilavati. 'Lilavati' was the name of Bhaskaracharya's daughter. This book contains questions and answers of Patiganit (Arithmetic), Algebra and Geometry. Questions have mostly been asked addressing Lilavati.
